This Friday, July 7th, we have a lot of fun planned. First, our pancake breakfast practice starts off the day! We are in need of some volunteers to help this work just right, so check in toward the end of your swimmer’s practice to see if you can help with serving the groups. :) Also, if you are interested in helping flip some flapjacks, email me and we can see dates that we need some help.

Friday night is also our pep rally!!! Every meet has a theme and this weekend our theme is WESTERN THEME. At the pep rally we will have a sweet treat served for our swimmers! (If there are extras after the swimmers are served, we can offer it to other family members.) Please RSVP at https://hpstingrays.swimtopia.com/ to just give us a head count on how much to have on hand.

The pep rally starts at 7:00pm. We will have a variety of stations set up with activities. There will be:

-Chalking the Deck

-Nail Polish

-Poster Making

-Temporary Tattoos

-Sweet Treat

And some fun cheers led by our coaching staff!

At 8:00pm we will head to the well area and do some team cheers to get us pumped for the meet!

Evening Practice Sign Ups
Hammond Park Pool

Evening practices are meant for swimmers who are unable to attend the morning practices. Because we have limited space in the evenings (the pool is still open and we only have a few lanes), swimmers should make every effort to attend the morning practice.

However, if transportation is an issue or there are activity/camp conflicts in the morning, we do offer evening practices on a sign up basis.

Parents: If your plans change after you sign up for a practice, please remember to delete your sign up if it is no longer needed.

7:00pm-7:30pm (8&U, 6&U)
7:30pm-8:00pm (9-10)

Suit Fitting
Hammond Park Pool
Start: 12:00 PM
End: 4:00 PM

Hammond Park has a team suit and a team swim cap. Our vendor (Metro Swim Shop) will be on site at Hammond Park on Sunday, May 21st from 12pm-4pm for a suit fitting. Swimmers can try on suits to ensure they have the correct size and have the option of purchasing a suit at the suit fitting (and ordering personalized caps).

Families may also opt to order team suits and team caps online through our online team portal with Metro (link will be provided once it goes live). Suits and caps ordered online will have to pay for shipping (which is not the case at the suit fitting date).

Finally - you can also find our team suit online or at other vendors. It is the Dolfin Reliance Colorblock DBX Back (Female Suit) and Dolfin Reliance Colorblock Jammer (Male Suit), both in red/black.

Team suits are not required, but swimmers who will compete in meets are encouraged to wear the team suit. If a swimmer does not wear a team suit, we ask that the swimmer wear a suit with team colors (black, red, white) that does not display the logo of another team (such as a year-round club team).

Stingray Families:

We have received information about the CMSL Division II Championship Meet (Divisionals). We have some time sensitive information below - please read and follow the steps below.

T-Shirts
The host pool has let us know that t-shirt orders must be placed in advance. They have requested the information from each team by Monday, July 18th. (We know - quick turnaround!). We have created a link on our website to order Divisional T-Shirts. If you would like to order a shirt, this order must be placed by Sunday, July 17th at 11pm. T-shirts are $20 ($22 for XXL). This is payable when you order on the link to our website.

Declaring for the Meet
Please let the coaches know if your swimmers are available to swim in the meet by Friday, July 22nd at 11:59pm. Each team may enter up to three swimmers per event (and one relay team per relay event). When you declare for the meet, if you have preferred events, please include that in the notes. Final lineup decisions will be made by the coaches. Even if you do not think your swimmers will be in the top three in an event for our team... please declare your availability so the coaches know who is available!

Meet Information
The meet notice is attached. The meet is Saturday, July 30th at Wynnewood.

Meet Entry Fees
If your swimmer is selected to swim in the meet, please note that there are entry fees of $5 for individual events and $20 for relay events ($5 per swimmer in the relays). Once the meet entries are finalized, we will send out payment options to the participating families.

Volunteers
We do have volunteer positions that we need to supply for the meet. These positions are already open for sign up on our website.

Questions?
If you have questions about Divisionals lineups, you can reach out to Coach Michelle. All other questions, you can reach out to us at [email protected].

Thanks!!
