The Straehle Invitational Meet is held near the end of the season, and will take place at one of the CMSL clubs. To participate in individual events, times submitted must have been swum in a dual meet during the season, and must be equal to or faster than the Straehle qualifying times. Individuals entered in a relay must have swum an official relay in a dual meet during the season, which recorded a time that qualifies for that event. Individuals may enter no more that (3) events and a relay. Each team may enter only (1) relay team in each relay event. 2022 Straehle Qualifying Times The 2022 Straehle Invitational Meet will be hosted by Padonia. Meet announcement is linked under files. |

Hey there Stingrays!!! On Sunday, July 24th we will be having our end of season celebration! We know, we know, it’s so hard to believe we are nearing the end. But don’t worry, there is so much more fun in store for us. BUT… we do have to start planning. The Awards Night is for ALL Stingrays and Mini Rays! Every swimmer will receive an award. DINNER will be served… IF you RSVP!!!We have partnered with Squisitos to come up with a delicious “Make Your Own” pasta bar. Penne pasta, Marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, meatballs, salad, and of course some pizzas. We will follow it all up with cake for our sweet treat!! If your family is interested in the banquet food, we ask that you please RSVP online under the July 24th event entitled “Swim Team Awards Night.” Please RSVP BY TUESDAY, JULY 19th at 10pm!!! Also include how many of your family members are going to be enjoying the meal in your RSVP. The cost is $5 per person. We will be accepting the following payments: 2. Venmo - @Jared-Fribush (Preferred) 3. Cash - please put in an envelope with your family name on and give directly to Jennifer or Jared If your family is choosing to bring their own meal or eat before coming to the Awards night, you do NOT have to pay for cake (or RSVP for it either). Everyone is welcome to the Awards presentation, whether you RSVP for the meal or not. ENTERTAINMENT - Team Slideshow… send us your pictures and videos!!!If your family is new to the team, we generally do an end of the season party with awards (broken down by age groups) and a slideshow when the sky is dark enough to use our projector. Hammond Park Warm Ups start @ 8:30. National anthem right after, then the meet starts @ 9:00. The entrance to the pool is at 5807 Oakland Road, Halethorpe, MD. Wynnewood leaves the front lot of the pool available to the visiting team (Hammond Park) and there is also street parking if needed for overflow spots. Once you come through the main pool entry gate our team area will be straight back beyond the pool deck and down the hill. There are several pavilions available to your team as well as grassy areas to set up chairs, etc. PAJAMAS THEME!! |

SATURDAY MEET INFO Home dual meet vs. Bolton Hill! Below is plenty of information, so take a moment to read through. Hammond Park Warmups: 6&U/8&U - 7:40am-7:50am Concession Items: We ask all families participating in the meet to provide a donation to our concessions. The donation list is attached - please drop off your items as you arrive and sign off on the list at concessions. Parking: Hammond Park families may not park at the pool parking lot. This is reserved for the visiting team. You may park in the neighborhood (although only on one side of Helmart) and there is additional parking available at Hammond ES/MS, with walking paths to the pool. Please plan accordingly. Also remember that part of Leishear is closed (between Graeloch and 216)! Canopies/Tents: You may begin setting up canopies in our team area at closing time on Friday night (9pm). Meet Entries: Meet entries have been emailed to participating families. If you have any questions, you can reach out to the coaches. The coaches took into account preferred events declared by families, but may have made some adjustments to account for relay entries and team strategy. Volunteers: We are still in need of a few volunteer positions for the meet. If your family has not yet volunteered, please consider signing up on our website. Other Reminders: Please remember that the shallow end of the pool, the well and the baby pool are NOT open during the meet. Parents, please help remind swimmers of these policies. |

The pep rally starts at 7:00pm. We will have a variety of stations set up with activities. There will be: -Chalking the Deck -Poster Making -Temporary Tattoos -Sweet Treat -Dance Party And some fun games led by our coaching staff! At 8:00pm we will head to the well area and do some team cheers to get us pumped for the meet! We hope to see you there for our first pep rally of the season! |
