The entries for the meet on Saturday are attached. Parents, thank you for signing up to work the meet! It has been great not having to search for timers the last 2 meets. We are still in need of a line-up person and a table worker for Saturday.

Warmups will start at 8:30 for us so please arrive by 8:15.

Don’t forget to declare for the Awards night if you are eating and for the rest of the meets (Home vs. Waverly, Novice - information below, Straehle, and Divisionals).

Night of Shenanigans

The Night of Shenanigans is moved to Wednesday, July 16 at 6 p.m.

Mini Rays

Please declare in Swimtopia if you would like to swim in the mini ray meet on Sunday, July 13. We welcome all junior coaches and older siblings to help time! There will be donuts, breakfast casserole, and drinks for purchase.

Awards Night

It is time to register for the awards banquet on Sunday, July 20. Please let us know if you are coming and if you are participating in the dinner. Everyone is invited whether or not you eat! Kloby’s Smokehouse is catering the event again this year. The menu includes:

• Pulled pork
• Boneless chicken thighs
• Macaroni and cheese
• Mashed potatoes
• Salad

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Please sign up in Swimtopia if you will be eating Kloby’s dinner. If you can come but do not want the meal, you can declare “not attending.” Please still come and take part in the awards and dessert!

Please RSVP by July 13! You can pay by bringing cash in an envelope with your name on the outside and give it to Christina or Aaron at the meet on Saturday. If you prefer to pay through your pool account, please go to (https://swimhammond.org/shop/) and click on “Swim Team Banquet.”

End of Season Meets:

Please declare in Swimtopia if your swimmer will be attending Straehle (must have a qualifying time) or divisionals. The coaches will determine who swims for divisionals, so they must know who will be able to attend!

Wynnewood Novice meet:

The times have been updated in Swimtopia. To be able to swim in this meet, your swimmer can be no faster than a specific time. For example, a 6 year old boy or girl must not be faster than 30.0 seconds to swim the 25 meter freestyle at his meet. You will be able to tell if your swimmer qualifies in the event in Swimtopia. Entries are due by Tuesday, July 15 at 5 pm. Please do not declare that you will attend and then back out. We need to pay for each entry and we do not get money back. We will receive our work assignments prior to the meet. Please expect to take a shift!

Divisionals:

We are allowed to enter 3 swimmers per event. A swimmer may swim 3 events total.

If a non-member needs to bring a swimmer to an evening practice, please put in the note who will be bringing your swimmer. I can let the front desk know who is coming.

Mini Rays

As you know, the weather has not been cooperating for the evening practices. Fortunately, we are able to extend your season by one week. There will be morning and evening practices on July 15 and July 17. That is Tuesday and Thursday only for both morning and evening practices. If more practices are canceled, we will not be able to extend the season further.
