I want to pass along information from the host team for the Divisional Championships. Also, the job signup is now open in SwimTopia, so please go sign up for a job!

Olympics Theme: As mentioned, we are doing a theme! After warm ups, prior to the National Anthem, we will have a mini opening ceremony where teams will process in, coaches will do a flame lighting ceremony, Anthem, race starts.

Meet Timeline

7:30am – 8:40am Warmups (see lane assignments below)

8:40am – 9:00am “Opening Ceremony”

9:00am National Anthem followed by Meet Start

Warmups

Hammond Park (HP) 8:20am – 8:40am Lanes 1 - 3

Programs

A limited number of programs will be for sale at the meet. 

Concessions

Concession will be available serving both breakfast (breakfast sandwiches, bagels, donuts, fruit, coffee) and lunch (burgers, dogs, taco in a bag, pulled pork, candy, snacks, etc.)

Seating Assignments

A chart with team sections around the pool will be available after entries are submitted.

Parking

We will have parking in the grass behind our pools and tennis courts, assuming we don't get flooded out of doing that. So we should have enough space for all cars, but if carpooling is an option for people that might be a good idea.

There are about 190 spots in the Forest Hill parking lot. Weather dependent, we will park on the grass behind the pool and tennis courts. If necessary, we will also use the Northfield Elementary and Dunloggin Middle School Parking lots, located about a 5-7 minute walk from the pool (9125 Northfield Rd. See map below, we will plan to have signs and/or volunteers along the walking path, which follows a sidewalk along Northfield, then turns right onto Southfield road to a pedestrian bridge leading to the pool grounds). FH families will park in the grass or offsite, otherwise the parking lot will be first come first served.

Forest Hill is collecting food for a food drive.  See the attachment for more information.
