Meet Information

Lineup is almost done. It will be sent out tomorrow.

We still need volunteers. If you have a swimmer in a relay, please volunteer for the second half. We are in particular need of timers!

Warm Ups

Our warm ups will start at 8:30, so please arrive at the pool no later than 8:15. The address is: 228 Fallsbrook Road Timonium, MD 21093.

Parking

We are very lucky to have a large parking lot in front of the pool. We reserve this for our visiting team. We will have two parking attendants making sure the lot stays open for you. I do want to let you all know that although there aren't stairs up to the pool there is a steep sidewalk up to the entrance. If you have any families with mobility issues or wheelchairs we are happy to give anyone a hand up the hill if they need it. It has never come up for a swim meet before but I just want to make sure that we are welcoming to all.

Set Up

The areas around the baby pool and lap pool and down to the playground are reserved for the visiting team. It is the area outlined in the yellow in the attached photo. (We will clear all the lounge chairs.) Unfortunately, the grass section down to the playground is a slope, but the rest of the area is flat and suitable for canopies. There will be a lifeguard in the lap pool starting at approximately 10 am so swimmers can warm-up and cool-down if they wish or if parents need to take a dip to cool off. We don't want swimmers to miss events though, so guards will try to enforce no messing around. The baby pool will remain closed for the duration of the meet.

Concessions

We run a concession stand and also a hot food stand called "Roadkill Grill" for breakfast and lunch. Please tell your families to bring cash (the food is really good).

Pep Rally

Reminder, we are having a pep rally on Friday evening at 6 p.m. If you would like your car windows decorated, we are going to have glass markers at the pep rally (you might want to clean your windows first).

Team Banquet

If you haven’t already, please pay for the banquet. It will start at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Please come for the awards even if you are not planning to eat the meal.

Divisional Championship Entries

The entries for Divisionals will be sent out on Sunday.

Practice Schedule (7/22-7/26)

Swimmers should only attend practices until their final meet. Only swimmers competing in the championship meets next week (Novice/Straehle/Divisionals) should attend practices. Due to the reduced number of swimmers, we will be condensing our morning practice schedule.
