Straehle merchandise & Warrior Novice Meet

This email contains information about the Straehle Championship, Warrior Novice Meet, and a reminder about the banquet.

Straehle Championship

The Straehle Championship meet is for the entire league and swimmers must qualify in order to attend. The times are tough, only the fastest swimmers go! The times are loaded into SwimTopia, so you check your swimmers to see if they have qualified in any event.

Some information has been posted to the CMSL site including ordering apparel. If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc., please check out this site: https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/reccmsl/page/swim-meets/straehle-invitation

Here is the link directly to the shopping:

Note that you need to put your order in by July 16 so that you can pick it up at the meet.

Novice Meet

Wynnewood has sent the information for the Warrior Novice Meet. This meet has the opposite requirement of Straehle in that you cannot swim faster than the qualifying time to attend. Swimmers do need a time!

This meet is $5 per event and you can pay cash to Christina or Aaron (envelope labeled with swimmers names and “Novice Meet”) or through the pool membership page (https://swimhammond.org/shop/) by July 16! Entries and payment will be due by July 16 as I need to get all the payment and entries to the home team by July 17. No late entries will be accepted! If you are super fast to pay, you might notice an incorrect date in the membership shop. We will fix that as it was a placeholder until we knew the correct deadline.

Here is the information from Wynnewood and I am attaching the meet notice for you as well:

We are so excited to have all of you join us for Warrior Classic on July 22nd!

Our pool grounds will open at 3:30pm for your families to arrive and get settled in. Our pavilions will be assigned so that each team will have a meeting place to gather. Warm-ups will begin at 4pm. Each team will be assigned a time frame and lanes according to the number of swimmers and distance from our pool. The meet will begin at 5pm.

I have attached the meet notice to this email. Please read over the meet notice carefully and provide the information necessary to your teams.

Once entries are received a warm up schedule and volunteer assignments will be sent out as these are dependent on the number of swimmers your team brings to the event.
