Such a close meet! The swimmers did so well and we scored very well against Forest Hill! We scored 231 and Forest Hill scored 256. We came close to breaking their long winning streak.

Volunteers

Thank you to all of the volunteers! Most of the positions were filled.

Team Banquet

We are organizing our team banquet for Sunday, July 21. Kloby’s Smokehouse will be catering the event. The cost will be $10 for adults and children 11 and over. Children 10 and younger will be $5. The menu will consist of pulled pork and several sides. Please declare on SwimTopia. Everyone can attend the banquet whether you choose to have the meal, but I need a head count for the catering by July 6! If you can come but do not want the meal, you can declare “not attending.”. Please still come and take part in the awards and dessert! Payment can be made in two forms:

1. Cash in an envelope with your family name and given to Christina or Aaron.
2. We are setting up an event through the pool membership so you can pay by credit card.

Payment will be due by July 14. More information will come about paying through the pool website.

Pictures

If you ordered pictures, they will be in your family file by Monday morning. You can pick them up along with the awards from the meet.

Meet Information

If I receive information from Rollingwood, I will be sure to pass it on to you. Please remember declare by Tuesday at 7 p.m. Our theme is Hawaiian Luau.

Night of Shenanigans

The Wednesday evening fun meet, “Night of Shenanigans,” is coming on July 10 at 6 p.m.. The sign up for this meet is a little different as we need you to sign up your swimmer through a google form. For those new, this is a fun meet with just our team. We do wacky events like a noodle relay. The pool will close early for the meet and there will be a dinner food truck, a dessert food truck, and our concession stand will have some options.

Mini Rays

Mini rays can begin declaring for your meet on Sunday, July 14. Swimmers can swim all of the strokes that they wish.
